Now all the presents have been opened, the food have been devoured, and everyone in the house is getting a little bored with the endless loop of Christmas movies playing on the YouTube. It’s time to shake the things up with a little family fun. It really doesn’t matter if your family is large or small, young or old, full of couch potatoes or active— we’ve got a lot of entertainment ideas that will make everyone jolly and happy

Christmas Five fun and Festive Family Games for Kids

1. Family tree: -

This game will only to work if you have someone in your group who is an an incredible good in sports. The idea of this game is to decorate a person as a Christmas tree. The willing victim must have to stand still as all the family members in the group decorate him (or her) with decorations. That can be made from red and green crêpe paper, aluminum foil, bows, paper, leftover wrapping paper, candy and whatever else you can find in your home. The end result will be hilariously good family fun!

2. Jingle bell rings: -

This is a great game for a large group of people, so it’s a perfect for the big family gathering at grandma’s house. All u Have to do is to divide up the group into different groups and then choose one member of each group to be the family representative of that group. The reps should have to leave the room for a few minutes (a good time for a retreat to the kitchen) while the rest of the group member rehearses. Each family should have to come up with a bell sound — think “jingle, jingle “or “ding, ding, ding,”. They can use the given time while the other family members are away to rehearse. When they return, the reps must have to be blindfolded and have to stand in a line on the opposite side of the room. Then One by one, each group should make their bell sound — you can even race around the room to mix it up the sound. And the family reps must guess that which bell ringing sound belongs to their group. This is a great fun game for a big family to share some big laughs all together on Christmas morning.

4. Present scramble: -

You’ll need to do a bit of preparation to pull off this game, but it will pay off 10-fold in a large family laughs when the time comes to play. You have to wrap a small gift in a small box. Then wrap that gift again in a larger box, and repeat this as many times as you can. To play, choose a number and then have every member in your family take turns rolling the die. The first person to roll the die, the chosen number can begin unwrapping. But there’s a catch: the member have to wear oven mitts to do it! The remaining players continue rolling the die while the mitted player is unwrapping the box. The next person to roll the die chosen number takes the mitts and continues the unwrapping of box. The person who unwraps the actual prize gets to keep the gift.

5. Christmas trivia: -

Does your family know everything about the Christmas that they should know there is to know? Then why not challenge the clan to a Christmas trivia showdown? Take out some Christmas tree trivia, some Santa trivia, or trivia about Christmas traditions from around the worldwide — or go for the gold and mix up all the questions from all the three trivia. You can have a dedicated game time with the members where the players compete each other for a prize (extra dessert!) or just ask the questions throughout the whole day to keep everybody guessing!
