A Christmas tree is a tree that is a decorated tree, usually it is a confide type of tree such as spruce, spine or fir which is used for celebration of Christmas. Christmas tree is also an artificial tree, which is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It is man made replication of such a tree and it is used instead of live tree in order to maintain the Christmas spirit and decorations without the maintenance and care of live cut tree, this tree is usually decorated with edibles such as apples, nuts or other foods. The tradition of Christmas tree was developed in early modern Germany (today it is called weihnachtsbaum or christbaum) which can be traced to the 16th century and possibly 15th century, in which “devout Christians brought the most decorated trees to their respective homes”. In 1966, The National Christmas Tree Association of United Stated began its time, they honored the tradition of having the “Grand Champion grower” to present a Christmas tree to the First Lady of United States for display in the Blue Room of the White House. In that year, Howard Pierce of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, presented a Christmas tree to President Lyndon Johnson and her First Lady Bird Johnson.

In today’s life, approximately 25 – 30 million Real Christmas Trees are used to sold each year in the United States of America. Almost all of the Christmas tree came from these plantations.
